About

My grandfather was a kidnapper, no not that kind but the kind that took a pony around to the neighborhoods, put kids on it back and made photographs to sell to the parents . My dad was stationed in Honolulu during WWII and was a certified photo refinisher there before heading off to Okinawa. I guess my path was chosen long before I was born. At a young age I inherited a box full of cameras and photographic dark room gear . Since both my dad and grandpa had passed I was left alone to teach myself how to use it, and that I did. Eventually I did study photography at Ohio University and went to work in the commercial world for 40 years. I had a lot of great times and experiences, traveled around the world from the beaches of Belize to Convention halls of Hong Kong. I have worked on Adds that are now in the advertising hall of fame, but now my real interest to make art some how some way.
